Welcome to "On The Way To School." I'm Christopher S. Dennis, and I'm excited to share my daily educational boost. In today's special episode, I want to reflect on my profound experience of achieving my doctorate in education for social justice. It's been a six-year journey, and I'm eager to discuss the significance of this accomplishment and my commitment to becoming a better equity practitioner.

During my graduation ceremony, I was surrounded by family, mentors, and cherished memories, and I want to highlight the emotional and reflective moments I experienced. I invite you to embrace your feelings as well, especially during this transition period post-graduation, which I like to call the "lonely graduation" phase that often accompanies such milestones.

Join me as I discuss the joys and challenges of this new chapter in my life. I hope to inspire you to stay motivated and make meaningful differences in your educational paths.
