Welcome back to "On The Way To School!" I'm Dr. Christopher Dennis, and after a long break, I'm thrilled to return and share my thoughts on the blissful stillness of summer and my preparations for the upcoming school year. Summer has always been a sacred time for me—a chance to rest, reflect, and look forward to a fresh start.
As I think about my 20 years in education, I feel a wave of excitement and a few challenges ahead. This year, I'm stepping into an advisory position, and I'm eager to connect with students in a new and meaningful way. There's something gratifying about building those relationships and being part of their journey.
