In recent years, we have seen an influx of innovative and bold experiments in redistributing the wealth accumulated by various institutions, organizations and entrepreneurs. These experiments fly under different flags - universal basic income, corporate social responsibility - social impact bonds, unrestricted granting, stimulus checks, gifts, social impact, etc. Some of these are making big impacts, some of these are perpetuating existing problems, some of these might be inviting new problems, and some of these giving practices just might be the key to the more just, equitable, accessible future so many of us strive to bring about.
