Dr. Chan, in collaboration with editors of several ophthalmic and optometric journals and the National Eye Institute, administers the new Council of Vision Editors Fellow Program designed to train early career vision scientists on the peer-review process. The Academy’s family of journals is a proud participant in the mentoring program.
