Fern Baird, a 63 year old female from Park City, Utah vanished while on a day hike into the Prairie Lakes Trailhead north of Ketchum, Idaho on October 19th, 2020.
Fern was wearing a grey jacket, black pants, carrying a black fanny pack.
Fern stated that she was "Going to the Lake and back" on the trail log she submitted, but three days later on October 22nd, 2020 her vehicle was located abandoned at the trail head, sparking a multi-day search and rescue operation.
Story Two:
Andrew Maloney, a 28 year old male from Ketchum, Idaho was last seen on September 26th, 1977. Andrew's vehicle, a blue 1971 Volkswagen was located abandoned on September 30th, 1977 at the dead end of Corral Creek Road.
Search and Rescue teams immediately deployed to the area, with canine teams tracking Andrew to the top of East Fork Canyon before the trail went cold.
