Welcome to Page by Page: Writing the Book in Real Time. Readers and writers alike are invited to take a look behind the veil as YA author Megan O’Russell creates her newest novel, Sketchbook of a Wayward Seer, one episode at a time.

Quick note about this week’s chapter. Our podcast platform is glitching for some reason and won’t allow us to upload more than an hour’s worth of content at a time. So we found a place in the middle of the episode to split it! This is part one, or as Megan says, 34.A. 34.B (part two) will be published by the time you finish part one.

In this week’s episode, we read chapter thirty-four. We join Ella and Jason at the overhang featured in Ella’s sketch, and the evidence Ella finds is worse than what her visions revealed.
