This is Play That Rock n' Roll's interview with STAN BUSH, the man behind iconic '80s soundtrack anthems like "The Touch", "Dare", "Fight to Survive", and "Never Surrender"! In this conversation, we talk about two of the most important people he works with when recording music, how those collaborations played out on this new album, and what motivates him to record his brand of “motivational rock”. We also discussed his musical roots, which go back to his youth in Gainsville, FL where he played in high school talent shows alongside a young Tom Petty AND the Allman Brothers. Then he told me about the first band he recorded an album with, how he launched his solo career, and since he’ll be playing shows next year – how he puts together his setlists. And as a bonus, he even tells the story of perhaps the goofiest moment of his career. Get "BORN FOR BATTLE" here: https://stanbush.com/store/ Our Links: https://linktr.ee/playthatpodcast
