Often situations are reported that are perceived to be paranormal activity when someone is waking up or falling asleep. You often hear about people seeing shadows or spirits, hearing sounds, or smelling scents upon waking. You often hear that someone feels paralyzed, that they are being choked or held down, or that they have trouble breathing upon waking up. In most cases this isn't paranormal, which we discuss in this episode.
