RUSTY DAY
Rock festival at Sick's Stadium, 1970 (49526648332).jpg
Rusty Day, lead singer of Cactus at Sicks' Stadium (earlier spelled as Sick's Stadium), Seattle, Washington, U.S., July 26, 1970. Jimi Hendrix headlined that show, and it turned out to be his last-ever performance in his home town. Also on the bill were Cat Mother & the All Night Newsboys. The Seattle Municipal Archives say "One of the opening acts of Jimi Hendrix's Cry of Love Tour performs onstage," but don't identify the performer. As of 2024-10-18, there is a photo of him wearing the same suit, probably at the same show, on Day's Discogs page: https://www.discogs.com/artist/1145933-Rusty-Day.
