This week’s show features two exciting Chicago shows.

First up, Broadway and Cabaret star Karen Mason discusses her new CD available on Amazon starting May 9th! The music of Kander and Ebb as only Karen can do it and she tells the stories and tales from her early days in Chicago to Broadway.

Seen on Broadway and national tours in shows including Sunset Boulevard, Mamma Mia, Hairspray, Jerome Robbins’ Broadway, Love Never Dies, Karen has always maintained a love for the intimate setting of cabaret performance.

Also available at www.KarenMason.com

And Victory Gardens Theater (in conjunction with Relentless Theater Group) opens its doors after a long pause to welcome the Chicago premiere of of David Mamet’s “Henry Johnson.”

Henry Johnson is a dramatic play (NOT political) as it follows the main character through his experiences in the corporate world and ultimately prison. The show is gripping until it’s shocking end!

Joining the conversation are the lead actor (and co-producer) Daniil Krimer and director Eddie Torres who discuss bringing this 2023 play to life in its Chicago Premiere! The play also stars Thomas Gibson (of Dharma and Greg and Criminal Minds fame), Chicago’s very own Keith Kupferer and Chicago regular Al’Jaleel McGhee.

Henry Johnson is playing through May 11th, and tickets can be purchased at www.victorygardens.org.

Here is Paul with Daniil Krimer and Thomas Gibson!
