Carl Boel is a PhD researcher on learning in virtual reality at Ghent University. Carl was a teacher for 15 years before doing his PhD, is currently investigating the benefits and constraints of virtual reality in educational settings, and recently launched a VR game teaching children how to ride a bicycle in traffic.
