Our protagonists begin their second year with a lecture about the nature of self-identity, magic, and secrets. They also wrestle with their text books. They learn of the next semester event, a dangerous flora-based scavenger hunt. We move into the obligation and downtime phase, in which they begin to look into the forces affecting one of Damien's close friends.

This is part of a playtest for a new Series Playset for Girl by Moonlight, in which protagonists have been drafted into a school of magic which is trying to change, manipulate, and even destroy them. It is inspired by The Scholomance, The Magicians, Vita Nova, Harrow the Ninth, Babel, Revolutionary Girl Utena, and more. This session includes our series and character creation.
