May is mental health month. Join us Sunday at 5:00pm as Jackie Warren invite us on her intimidate journey of life as a child with a father who is diagnosed with mental illness. Jackie has been affected by mental illness all her life. Her father has a diagnosis of bi-polar, manic depression, and schizophrenia with homicidal tendencies. She will discuss the fears, anger, disappointments, confusion and often shame that cloud the lives of those who suffer with mental illness and their family and friends. Jackie shares her challenges and achievements of relating with her father as a child through adulthood. She will share with us how she has had to locate resources and safe accommodations for him as he progresses through the aging stages of his life. She will share self-help tips that have helped her maintain her stability and sanity.
