This episode was recorded live on May 8th 2025 at the On Record: A Legacy of Hip Hop opening reception, hosted at Columbia College Chicago, 745 S Wabash Ave. The On Record exhibition is an archive of the Then, Now and Beyond of the people who have brought Hip Hop alive at Columbia College and what has been achieved. The exhibit will be featured on the first floor of Columbia's Student Center for the next year and can be seen from the outside on 8th street. The archived displays will be up until early 2026 and then relocated to the Chicago Hip Hop Heritage Museum.

In this episode, Myka interviews multiple people of multiple generations about their stories, memories and experiences with Hip Hop culture. From all the way back to the earliest days from the 70's/80's to today, Hip Hop has impacted the lives of so many and has continuously connected people throughout time. This episode is a verbal history, an archive of it's own, capturing what may be forgotten one day and their is still so much that has not been said. Listen in to hear what they have to say...
