Ever found yourself nagging your partner like they're your child?
Or maybe you’ve been on the receiving end - feeling like a teenager being told off?

In this episode of The Power Within Podcast, we’re diving into Transactional Analysis and how the three ego states, Parent, Adult, and Child, show up in our relationships (yes, even in the healthy ones).

We chat about:
🔹 How easy it is to slip into “parenting” mode without realising
🔹 When a tone of voice can trigger a child-like reaction before anything’s even said
🔹 Why shouting, bossing, or controlling will never get the best out of someone
🔹 How our energy shifts depending on the people and environments around us
🔹 The difference in how we both show up—Amy in serious mode, Vicky in playful mode
🔹 Why hugging it out sometimes works better than “talking it through”

Communication builds relationships - but only when it’s done from a place of awareness and connection.

So if you’ve ever caught yourself parenting your partner, or feeling like you’re being parented, this episode is a must-listen.

(Oh - and we almost adopted a cat this week!)
