The ideas most hold about baptism are just “hand-me-downs” they have gotten from others, and never drawn from assiduous study of all the Word of God has to say on the subject. We will turn to the Word of God to determine all It has to say about the subject of baptism. We consider the meaning of the word “baptism” as it is used in Scripture, and from the various meanings we conclude what is set forth by the Bible as the most important baptism.
