Join our dynamic podcast discussion with artivist YACINE TILALA FALL (www.yacinetilalafall.com). She is an interdisciplinary conceptual performance artist MATERIAL JUNKIE based in Washington D.C. Using natural materials she investigates concepts of heritage, ritual, function, history, identity, faith, labor, and politics and not just via performance, also sculpture, painting and installation, but all through the lens of her body. Inspired by her Senegalese and Mauritanian heritage, her work and practice speak to the human body and its entangled relationship with these forces.
