I defy anyone to read through Revelation once and just "get it". I'm almost a month into this study and it has taken quite a bit of back and forth and many rabbit holes. I had to step back and away, let it sit, come back and just rest with Revelation on the brain for a while. If anything, I'm learning the value of letting the Bible speak and not to force it.

If you're like me, you might be listening to a lot of theories about when things are supposed to happen. In the context of Revelation, let me break it down as clearly as I can (downloading the notes is useful).

  • Church Age
  • Birth Pangs
  • Great Tribulation (3.5-year period)
  • Christ's Return
  • Millenium

If you get this timeline straight, reading Revelation will make a lot more sense. And, oh yeah, we don't skip the Rapture! We don't nail down a date (sorry). I think we came up with a better idea! Definitely download the notes on this. We do make some assumptions, but I think it's a strong one. Rapture is pictured by the Feast of Trumpets. Instead of choosing a date though, let's create a celebration movement for the Feast of Trumpets! This doesn't have to be just a Jewish holiday! I develop a plan for this in the notes. I could use some help! If you're interested email [email protected] and let's get a movement going!
