Sven Longshanks looks at Lucy Connolly's different treatment to his own after release from Prison
Lucy Connolly is currently in the news complaining that she thinks David Lammy MP prevented her from being able to fly to America, when its a requirement of all UK prison licenses not to leave the country.
She also complains that she has to ask permission to attend a gathering of more than 50 people. Sven was not allowed to meet more than one person, let alone 50.
How come she was allowed to be guest speaker a conference, after being released just weeks earlier, when Sven was not even allowed to attend a private gathering as an audience member, 3 weeks before the end of his license?
There is clearly a two-tier probation system, but at least her extremely mild restrictions are drawing some attention to the suppression of free speech in Britain.
