The Department of Parliamentary Services has admitted a tranche of thousands emails containing sensitive communications between politicians, parliament staff, security officers and others was handed to a third party that did not have a security clearance for it.After previously assuring senators that a contractor with a data forensics group had been cleared to receive the emails... the Department now says that not correct, and it had been provided with incorrect information about the third party.
