Britain has unveiled sweeping asylum reforms that will make it far easier to deport people who enter the country illegally. Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has outlined plans to tighten the use of human rights laws in migration cases, and place refugees on temporary protection for up to 20 years, before they can seek permanent residency.
