In this episode of Good Deeds, host Nanette Wiser catches up with Kathryn Bursch, Outreach Manager at the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas (AAAPP) which turned 50 in 2024. We talked about her journey and philanthropic work at 10 Tampa Bay and what she is doing now to help our seniors. AAAPP's mission is to help seniors live well at home by providing a variety of services both run directly by the organization as well as partner agencies with 44 different programs in Pasco and Pinellas. Bursch worked with WTOG then Fox 13 then 24 years at 10 Tampa Bay, first as a broadcast journalist and later as Community Relations Manager for 10 Tampa Bay. "I've been using my TV skills to help make videos that tell the story of AAAPP," says Bursch, who is everywhere at community events and festivals providing information about services available for seniors.
