From growing up as an active outdoors obsessed young girl with a big imagination and a note book of business ideas, Kristi Zuhlke has launched and exited successful start-ups and is now the CEO and Founder of Knowledge Hound, a global tech company working with brands as diverse as Spotify, lyft, Procter & Gamble and Whirlpool. Kristi is passionate about the role of data to help the world better understand people, and how decision makers can better make sense of the huge volume of data available to them. We go for a wonderful journey from Kristi's willingness to embrace thinking different as a child into adulthood, to her insight from sitting down in the lounge rooms of people in developing countries and that 'happy means different things to different cultures,' from the joys and lessons from raising $5 Million and successfully launching and growing Knowledge Hound, to what makes the US, Australia and Europe culturally similar and different, and how Kristi finds zen in an ever uncertain world. And much, much more! Real People is a podcast hosted by Jason Dunstone, the founder and managing director of Square Holes. Subscribe to Real People on your favourite podcast player. Jason builds on his 25 years of conducting human-centred research, interviewing average and not so average people (rich, poor, old, young, content and vulnerable) to understand what they believe and how they behave.
