The year is 49 BC, and Rome is rotting from within—gripped by corruption, paranoia, and the brittle illusion of order.

On the banks of the Rubicon, beneath a grey, cold sky, one man stands poised to tear the Republic apart. Julius Caesar—general, statesman, would-be saviour or tyrant—knows that crossing this shallow river means one thing: civil war. The Senate has ordered him to surrender. His enemies wait in Rome, knives drawn and oaths broken.

But Caesar does not blink.

With one step into the water, he makes his choice. "Alea iacta est." The die is cast. There is no going back.

What drives a man to gamble everything—his life, his legacy, the very soul of Rome itself?

This is a story not just of ambition, but of betrayal, fear, blood, and the dark pull of destiny. Because sometimes, the only way to seize power… is to burn the world that stands in your way.

Join Keith as he walks with Caesar to the edge of the abyss—and steps across.
