Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. The Switch 2 is finally here. After all those years dreaming about what Nintendo would do after the massive success of the original Switch, to the leaks and eventual reveal of the new hardware, and the short turnaround time to release, many people now have their hands on the latest platform from Nintendo! I lined up at midnight with a ton of other people to get the console as soon as I could and spent the next 4 days straight playing this new system. This week I go over my impressions of the new hardware and talk about how it went for me, as well as my experience picking it up at midnight.
