Motivation

1 Corinthians 9:24—“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.”

Colossians 2:18—“Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind.”

2 Corinthians 4:17—“For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison.”

Hope

1 Peter 5:10-11—“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To him be the dominion forever and ever.”

Psalm 46:2-3—“Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.”

Psalm 46:1—“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
