Shana is a Jill-of-all-Trade's, she grew up behind the scenes of the film industry travelling to different countries to visit her father who worked as a props master on large Motion Pictures and Hollywood Blockbusters. At a young age Shana caught the acting bug and pursued commercial, theatre, film and modelling work. However, being subjected to the vanity of external appearances in the entertainment industry she developed eating disorders which in time she overcame. Although passionate about acting, she wanted to pursue another purpose in life. While having a background in sports with over 12 years of soccer experience she became a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine while attending University.
She graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences, and worked for the Provincial Government in Social Services advocating for low income families and helping women fleeing domestic abuse. However, she faced her own adversity losing her high school sweetheart and friend to a violent attack, family mental health issues, and ironically being involved in a long term toxic relationship herself, however, she is a strong believer that someone is, "never a victim, and always a warrior."
Shana further pursued her education and became a certified Life Coach through Rhodes Wellness College, and is now a Vancouver based Dating and Relationship Coach. She works with her clients to empower them throughout their dating and relationship journeys while giving insightful, clever and witty advice. Through her own adversity she has developed a compassionate approach in working with her clientele. Shana is also a published author and poet and has two books, "I Tried to Write Love Poems," and "Love Gone Savage," both written to help women going through tribulations, to give them not just light at the end of the tunnel, but the whole damn sun.
