Spencer Hooker is an activist and global communications graduate student focused on the role of social media in activism. In this episode, he joins Dr. Kelly Culver and Jenn Quader to discuss his TEDx Talk, “Decoding Clicktivism.” Spencer explains why online advocacy can be a powerful tool for change, but encourages us to combine our efforts with other forms of activism like donating and protests.
