Do you find it challenging to find joy in church on Sunday mornings while in the midst of your recovery journey? Clint and Charity often do. In this episode, they share their heartfelt struggles with serving, enjoying, and experiencing church life, even after visiting many congregations, serving in a few, and being on staff full-time.
It's vital to recognize that you're not alone in this journey. Clint and Charity aim to normalize these challenges and uplift anyone feeling the same way. Church can often feel daunting when it seems to lack authenticity, when sermons skirt around real-life issues, or when the atmosphere feels devoid of hope and joy. Yet, within this turmoil, we can still embrace and embody God's beautiful design for the Church. We can choose to be the church, worship amidst hardships, and hopefully lead the change by passionately following Christ. Together, we can open our hearts to allow Jesus to meet us in this wrestling match, guiding and teaching us along the way.
