I recently tested the Octopus Fight Stick, along with the Brawler64 and D6 from Retro Fighters...and before that, I'd tested 8Bitdo's wireless Neo Geo CD style controller. While I have the ability to test lag and detect major flaws, I'm not a pro gamer and can't push these to their limits. So, I sent them all to Beast, as he's both a pro-level gamer and uses specific test methods to gauge how each perform against the originals, or other options. This is a podcast-style discussion about all four and I think Beast did an excellent job adding perspective for each, both as a pro gamer and just as someone who's good at explaining some of the more technical stuff to the casual gamer.
