Sarah Stevenson talks about her first year at McGill University's jazz program as a vocalist and her upbringing in Nanaimo, including studies at Wellington Secondary School's jazz program. I heard Sarah play in Nanaimo at the Vault Cafe and spoke with her at her family's home the next day. This episode is the first on-the-road session I've ever conducted!
