Dave has worked as a river guide since 1970. He has worked in the Grand Canyon primarily (listen in for exactly how many trips). He has also worked on the Main Salmon River in Idaho and in Southern Utah through Cataract Canyon. Dave's father is one of the original owners of Tour West , Frank Stratton. Dave has a deep love of rivers. He is a great story teller. He has a vast knowledge about each rivers human and natural history, geology, ecology, hydrology and many other facts about each river that he enjoys sharing. He is kind, humble, and an all around enjoyable person spend time with. I hope you enjoy our conversation. If you have specific things you would like me to ask him in the future, please leave comments on my Instagram, Rivergirl Radio. I also post photos there if you are interested. Enjoy Dave.
