The Albanese Government's decision to extend the life of the North West Shelf Gas Project another 45 years to 2070 has been lambasted by climate advocates, Indigenous leaders, and scientists.
But the business community has welcomed this decision in the hopes that the extension will boost Australia's economic prosperity.
