Federal education minister Jason Clare has called for a national database of childcare workers and their employment histories – to be accessible at the press of a button.
This comes after revelations alleged child abuser Joshua Dale Brown worked at more centres than initially thought, bringing the total to 23.
It's prompted authorities to urge more than two-thousand children to be tested for infectious diseases.
