Chinese shipping companies have begun advertising "origin washing" services to manufacturers as a way to circumvent the Trump administration's tariffs on Chinese exports

Advertisements have been posted on Chinese social media platforms and websites offering to re-route exports through other national ports in Asia to disguise the origin of goods and potentially avoid tariffs of 145 percent.
