Australian members or supporters of online far-right extremist network Terrorgram will now face up to 25 years' in jail after the federal government's decision to formally list the group as a terrorist organisation.

According to the government Terrorgram advocates for — and provides instructions — on how to conduct a terrorist attack, and has been responsible for successfully inspiring terrorist attacks in the United Statesm Europe and Asia.
