This is something I've heard @ChrisWillx refer to as the 'lonely transition period'


When you're focused on bettering yourself, you might find yourself cutting off relationships and habits that don't align or hinder that journey of self-development and personal growth. If no one else around is trying to change in the same way, it's easy to feel isolated and eventually even lose motivation. As you adopt these new habits or hobbies, you may drift apart from some friends or family who don't understand your growth
