Welcome to our Friday Brew Talks! Today, we’re fortunate to have Debbie Cwalina, Executive Director of Be THE Voice, along with board members Kendra Smith and Ryan Williams. 👋
This incredible student-led movement promotes kindness and inclusion from kindergarten through 12th grade—and it’s making a real impact by counteracting bullying and cyberbullying. 👏
Be THE Voice began in 2015 when Debbie read about the rising rates of adolescent suicide linked to cyberbullying. That moment sparked a movement, and today, their 12-week, peer-narrated video series is helping transform school culture across the state. 🙌
They just celebrated their 10-year gala, and as Debbie shared, “Every kid in Roswell knows about Be THE Voice—now it’s time for the parents to know, too!” 🫶
