The Indiana Fever media just embarrassed themselves big time. Instead of asking real basketball questions or focusing on the matchup against the Chicago Sky, they decided to ask the players if they were “in awe” of playing at the United Center. Seriously?

This is professional basketball — not a high school field trip. The question sounded more like something you'd hear from a starstruck fan, not credentialed media. Caitlin Clark and her teammates deserve better than being treated like they’re tourists who should be grateful just to be in the building.

This is part of the reason the WNBA struggles to be taken seriously — because even the local media can’t stop drooling over an NBA arena instead of focusing on the actual game.
