TV's Kevin & Kat take a little side avenue before they close out Season One. It's like that time on LOST where like two or three episodes before the series finale, they just threw in a big flashback episode about Jacob & the Man in Black. Allison Janney was there. I feel like this has become pretty standard on TV since LOST kind of pioneered this format. You can't really watch a season of an HBO show without this happening now.
