E194 - I have the pleasure of finishing season 7 of the SAM Magazine podcast by reading two short stories by two talented authors, Margarita Escobar, the author of the story The Bridge, and Gisela Woldenga, the author of the short story The House in the Park. Both short stories involve love, friendship, and caring for our neighbours, as well as those who have passed before us.

Margarita is a Chilean/Canadian author. Her novel Under a Weeping Willow is available on Amazon and it traverses the intricacies of the human condition with themes of love. This collection of tales crosses the globe and pulls from the rich flavours of Margarita's Chilean roots.

Gisela is an author, actress and novelist. In 2007 Scholastic Canada published her story Flying Acrobats, and in 2010 she self-published her first novel The Destiny of Dreams. Gisela has seven novels published. Her website is Gisela Woldenga

Thank you Margarita and Gisela for trusting me with reading your words. It was my pleasure. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas. I'll connect with everyone for season 8 of the podcast in January 2025.
