For over two decades, Ellen Graf-Martin has had the privilege of working alongside incredible world-changers. Why? Because of a deep commitment to strengthening organizations and leaders who are dedicated to hope, generosity and justice. Serving people who serve those who live in the margins, to find justice. Seeing those who are vulnerable, empowered. That’s what gets Ellen up in the morning.

Since 2008, she has led the team at Graf-Martin Communications, where she makes marketing happen - for good. The team brings strategic insight to non-profit, values-driven executive directors and their Fundraising and Communications teams.

Ellen has had the opportunity to work as a marketing, branding and resource consultant for several national and international non-profit organizations, has built marketing strategies for Hollywood blockbuster films and toured hundreds of bestselling authors.

Ellen is also passionate about equipping other women in positions of leadership. This passion is what led to the development of The Table - a group of 50 Canadian women of faith in positions of leadership. This group meets regularly to share resources, equip and encourage each other, in what can be a very lonely space.

As a volunteer, Ellen has had the chance to judge the JUNO Awards, approve Business Development Canada loan applications for small businesses and provide direction and consultation on communications for Ontario Health.

With a variety of cross-cultural living experiences, and a west-coast upbringing, Ellen now survives winters and enjoys summers in Ontario with her husband, daughter and their feisty Bengal cat.
