Today, we are going to share some recent real-life resume failures. Did you know that approximately 60% of candidates are rejected because of their resumes? When I share this statistic, most individuals assume these rejections are due to poor grammar or spelling and punctuation issues.

You should know that the issues we are going to discuss go well beyond poor spelling, punctuation, and grammar.

Don’t you think it is silly to be rejected because of resume issues? And perhaps you fall into the ‘you aren’t talking about me category’...so let me remind you: 60% of candidates are rejected because of their resumes.

That is 6 out of 10 candidates. So yes…there may be opportunities for you to improve your approach.

So listen to today’s roundtable so the team can share real stories and provide tangible advice. Some of the topics we cover include:

  • How to ensure your resume is scannable by Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • What your keyword strategy should be so that your resume progresses to a ‘human eye’ review.
  • And a discussion on outdated resume myths that are no longer applicable (and therefore should be avoided).

Feel free to share your stories! Need help to craft an effective resume? Check out our coaching forum because we can help!
