In this episode of Self-Care with Jean, I'm sharing something really special with you - a short and simple meditation that you can bring into any moment of your day.
What I love about this practice is that you don't need any special equipment, a quiet room, or even a meditation cushion. Whether you're walking down the street, sitting at your desk, or even washing dishes in your kitchen, this meditation can be your companion.
Together, we'll explore three beautiful elements: presence, breath, and connection to ourselves. I'll guide you through gentle breathing techniques - inhaling for a count of four and exhaling for five - helping you notice the natural rhythm without trying to change it.
We'll also practice body awareness, learning to feel our feet meeting the ground as we walk, the support beneath us when we sit, or the warm water on our hands during everyday tasks. I'll share a simple mantra you can use as well.
My hope is that you'll discover how meditation doesn't have to be separate from your life - it can be beautifully woven into the little things, offering you moments of peace wherever and whenever you wish. Remember, your breath, your body, and this present moment will always be with you.
