Brian, Blake, and Richard are back for Episode 589 of the Chasing Tone Podcast - Brian's ears are burning and introducing the Wampler Mini EGO 76

Brian discovers someone has been talking about him and then breaks down a little bit of knowledge about his latest miniature marvel, The Wampler Mini EGO 76 . He also discovers words are difficult when trying to describe pedals. There is some questionable electronics discussion which you should definitely avoid.

The British King of Fuzz is outraged by Strymon borrowing his name for their latest delay pedal but he is worried about the strength and validity of his case. Brian wonders about how amphibians mate again and the guys are concerned. Richard has had some guitar revelations and we pay our respects to the late KISS guitarist Ace Frehley.

The guys get misty eyed for (checks notes) vintage cell phones and this somehow turns into truck and then car talk before Richard guides it full circle to pedals. Then back to cars again. How hard can it be to start an electronics component manufacturing company? Inquiring minds need to know!

Herbert Pedal and the garden gnome incident, Wamplera, Whitesnake, Trapper keepers, Trigger Happy TV...it’s all in this week’s Chasing Tone!
