Manage episode 492145358 series 2342537
This week on Something Ain’t Right, we’re not just raising eyebrows—we’re raising hell.
First up, “King” Trump, in his latest episode of Presidential Pouting, says New York City will “not get any money” if Zohran Mamdani wins the Democratic primary for mayor. Oh, we’re doing hostage negotiations over election results now? Sir, this is a democracy, not The Real Housewives of MAGA-Lago.
Then, down in Texas, where logic goes to sweat and die, the Attorney General is pushing to execute Robert Roberson before his appeal can be heard. That’s right—Texas is basically saying, “Due process is cute and all, but let’s just get this over with.”
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court’s conservative/monarchist majority (because robes apparently come with crowns now) decided to weaken the ability of federal courts to block harmful executive policies. So basically, they just threw a wrench into the last emergency brake we had left.
And finally, we talk about the grim assault on Trans healthcare, as the Trump administration continues its crusade to strip Trans Americans of access, dignity, and basic civil rights. Because apparently cruelty is not just the point—it’s the policy.
It’s ugly out there, y’all. But if you’re looking for righteous rage, sharp laughs, and a whole lot of truth-telling, Something Ain’t Right is here to break it down and hold the line.
