I had the pleasure of being joined on this episode by esteemed Åsta Haukås, a professor of language education at the University of Bergen, Norway. Her research focuses on improving students' ability to learn multiple languages and supporting language teachers' motivation and professional development.

It was great to learn from Prof. Haukås about language teacher motivation and how we can support it until retirement. This is a key element that is often overlooked in the research but we know it is vital for sustaining student motivation in our classes.

A fascinating discussion I am sure you will all enjoy and learn from!

Please let me know what you think! I'd love to hear from you.
