First, the plaintiff says he was hoodwinked into buying a lemon of a car by the defendant, and he’s suing to get his repair money back. The defendant says the car is perfectly good, and the plaintiff hasn’t even finished paying him for it. He is countersuing for the balance due.

Then, the plaintiff bought a dresser from the defendant but didn’t get all the parts and can’t set it up. He’s suing for the amount he’s out. The defendant says he sold the plaintiff a perfectly good dresser, and the movers who took it must have lost the pieces, so he owes nothing.

Plus, the plaintiff says his car was towed by the defendant and when he went to retrieve it, all his important personal property was gone. He is suing the defendant for the lost property. The defendant towed the car because it wasn’t registered, and she refuses to refund the plaintiff because she had no way to steal his property.
