I feel there exists testable hypotheses for potential real explanations for the true nature of dark matter. Dark matter is just a placeholder for an incomplete understanding of gravity at cosmic scales. We will not find dark matter in wimps or machos but will find it when we adjust the general theory of relativity with one or more parameters that helps it more accurately predict the nature of all celestial movements. I offer some likely answers to what those parameters represent.
