James is a media executive and property investor. He has worked across the media industry during his career and most recently spent 10 years leading corporate communications for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup organising committee. He is the founder of Holiday Cottage Handbook – a new communications platform for everyone with a vested interest in the short-term lettings sector. It shares free education for hosts, investors and property managers through its e-book, website, podcast, newsletter and social media channels. James is also the founder and managing director of Varley Media – a communications agency that works with clients across the globe.
